A Taurus Moon epitomizes 'being well' and the striving for a prosperity that satisfies all aspects of material and spiritual being. In other words, if they can, these people will have it all - and why not? Quite often they do. Taurus is ruled by Venus, which lends a sensual, artistic nature to the Taurus Moon, giving them an appreciation for the best they can afford. They take pride in their 'good taste' and aspire to the good life, whether in material possessions, friendships or love.
Among other things, the Moon represents the hearth and home, and it is quite normal to find Taurus Moons making their castles as cosy as they can. Material assets comfort them and give them a feeling of security and well-being. While not necessarily only interested in material things, this is an intrinsic part of their nature and contributes a good deal to their values, attitudes and outlook.
A Taurus Moon strives for well-being, not necessarily in the healthy new-age sense (especially as they con indulge in rich diets and drink}, but as an overall measure of material and emotional success. In fact, they are connected for Taurus Moon; material or financial challenges can be experienced by them as particularly difficult. If it were possible to soy what all Taurus Moons would like, it would be a happy, well off, sensual life with just the right amount of spiritual spark. They aspire to do good, and if life gives them the means, they can be kind and generous and may be involved in charitable, social or community work.
Tourus Moons ore happy-go-lucky in a sober kind of way and tend to be quite charming and likeable. It con be difficult to call them shy, but they do hove a reserved side to their character and can be quite content to sit at the sidelines, watching rather than participating. There is a measure of self-contentment about them. Nevertheless, they also have a natural, .easy-going warmth that puts others quickly at ease. Their friendly nature attracts others to them and they usually enjoy a busy social circle. This suits them well because a Taurus Moon does need others to feel truly complete. They can be true and lasting friends, and tend to be thoughtful in their dealings with others, making people feel welcome, cared for and the centre of attention.
Their keen social skills can, however, create problems for them now and then. They are so good at making you feel special that you can easily feel lost or abandoned when their affections are given to others. Remember, they are popular for being interesting, stimulating and able to make others feel the center of attention. They put people at ease and whether at home, the office or at a party, a Taurus Moon will bring a gentle touch to the surroundings, especially if they make the effort to show you special favor.
The Stubborn Seeker
Taurus Moons are generally tolerant and accepting, but don't be surprised if they are not easily swayed to your way of thinking. Taureans like to build a sense of personal security through a well-developed set of principles that are not easily changed - or questioned. They can seem stubborn, and in fact are genuinely stubborn when they feel it's called for. Depending on other factors in their chart, this tendency can be reduced or magnified. In some cases, the strong will of a Taurus Moon can be expressed as dogmatic and overbearing, especially if they have expectations that are not being met. Don't be surprised by a slight tendency to use 'facts' to support their preconceptions.
Their strong will can surface especially in business and financial matters, which is why Taurean Moons can make good bankers, accountants and financial managers, with John Maynard Keynes the best example. They notice all the little details and can make 'practical' decisions if the facts don't add up, however disappointing it may be to others.
They tend to be ambitious people, at least within the circumference of their natural abilities, which often have an artistic or creative flair about them, and strive for a stable life. Their material side can make them feel inadequate or incomplete in spiritual or esoteric matters, however. They will try to fill this void with friends who offer them the chance to discuss existential and philosophical subjects. In fact, just having the friends will give them a sense of deeper well-being, a connection with something fulfilling and important beyond the mundane limits of tactile reality.
Another channel for their inner development comes from communing with nature. This will bring out the artistic inclinations of a Taurus Moon, but more importantly put them in touch with their emotional and intuitive side.
Herein lies the chief paradox of a Taurus Moon - practical, sensible and focused on general well-being, yet attracted (some times secretly) to something that defies the logic that guides and stabilizes the rest of their life. Whether a Taurean is lucky enough to find the right Scorpio Moon partner, or another Moon sign such as Pisces or Aquarius, who brings this out in them, whether they dive deeply into mysteries or remain yearning for them, they know that their emotional maturity requires the addition of something divine. This hos a mesmerizing hold on them, and affects them throughout their life, if only perhaps from the periphery of their day-to-day being.
At the end of their journey they should come to realize that the material is but one port of the spiritual and that in a higher sense, the two are not incompatible. One does.not invalidate the other, except when conspicuously absent from life. Finding a healthy balance between spiritual interests and material needs is on achievement that brings out the best of the Taurus Moon's talents.
